A Very Cute Handbag {for my mom}

For mother's day, I have made a few things for my amazing mom.  Since we are more than 8000 miles apart, I wanted her to have something I create for her to show off to her friends lol

So I made a cute handbag that is very light weight and with lots of pockets for her stuff.

inside of the bag, big pocket is for mom's big wallet, smaller is for her phone, the smaller pocket was also embroidered 

front of the bag is sewn into two big pockets.

Cute Reversible Garden Apron {for my mom}

My mom has recently been interested in gardening, but she said she doesn't have an apron or tool belt, so I decided I would make her one that's both cute and useful with lots of pockets

I am using the same fabric that I made the handbag with to make this apron for mom.

Cute Garden Sleeves {for my mom}

For mother's day, i thought i should make my mom something, since i learned how to sew a year ago, i never made mom anything, so I went to Hancock's and found some really cute garden prints, and some purse handles, so i am making a few gifts for mom.

First, i am making these garden sleeves for mom so she wont get burned gardening.

Kitchen Accessories (Oven Mitt & Pot Holders)

For a friend's birthday, I am making a series of Vegas Themed gifts for her.

Here are the Pot Holders and Oven Mitt I made for her

I bought some batting, heat resistant batting for them

For the oven mitt, i decided to quilt it along the print lines

the back is quilted too

bias tape sewn, and loop added

i quilted the pot holders like the oven mitt

Kitchen Accessories (Reversible Apron)

For a friend's birthday, i decided to make her some kitchen essentials: apron, oven mitt, pot holders. Since she loves Las Vegas so much, i used Vegas print fabric for this set.
