Yippee! Summer is here (at least for most of us). You know what that means right? BBQ!!!!! We are organizing a BBQ party for Father's Day, so I am in serious search for some great but easy DIY ideas for a backyard BBQ party!
Today's Theme: Summer BBQ DIY
Hello my name is Mandy, and I am a Pinaholic! ^__^
If this is your first time here, let me briefly explain to you what this is all about. This is a new series I am starting to share what I have pinned to my boards on Pinterest that I find interesting and inspiring. I will feature sewing related pins that may be tutorials, tips, tricks, or ideas (but I am partial to tutorials!)
So without further ado, let's begin our Ninth PA Meeting!

2nd item on our meeting agenda: Free BBQ Party Printable
Jennifer over at Hostess with the Mostess has great table decor ideas and free printable. How cute is this Place Card?!
3rd item on our meeting agenda: BBQ Centerpiece
Jennifer has another great idea for a centerpiece! Check out her tutorial on how to make these!
4th item on our meeting agenda: Party in a jar
DIY home cutness has this great idea on how to keep napkin, drinking glass and silverware all in one place and so cute!
5th item on our meeting agenda: BBQ Garland
Make sure you stop by DIY Dish, they have this great idea, a party garland/utensils holder! Two birds, one stone!!!!
6th item on our meeting agenda: DIY Citronella Candles
How cool it is to have Citronella candles, you can make yourself, all over the tables for your friends at your BBQ? Head over to Garden Therapy to learn how to make your own Citronella candles
7th item on our meeting agenda: Wheelbarrow Cooler
How about using a wheelbarrow for the beers and such? Its size can hold quite a bit of bottles or cans and you don't have to buy coolers or have your guests go into the house for drinks all the time!
8th item on our meeting agenda: Backyard Games
Dani over at Seaside Shelter DIY'ed a couple of backyard games: Ping Pong and Twister. Go over there and check out how to do it.
9th item on our meeting agenda: Custom Cushions
Jesi over at Brit.co has a great idea on how to spruce up your outdoor furniture. Imagine you can just some some cheap plain chair cushions and paint them some cool designs with your kids! What a great project and decor idea!
10th item on our meeting agenda: Party Lights DIY
OK, I have to admit, this one is my favorite! Not only is this soooooooo friggin' easy to do and super cute, but also soooooooo friggin' versatile. Head over to Club Chica Circle, Pauline shows you how to turn boring old string lights into super awesome party lights!
11th item on our meeting agenda: Follow me for so you don't miss one PA meeting! ^__^
*Do pin these amazing tutorials from their original sites*
Great ideas. One thing I like is the citronella poles. You can line a pathway with them, and since they are tall (head height) they work well. I used them at weddings all the time. They are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteThe wheel barrel cooler is cool, but one thing I really like is the galvanized tubs. The reason i like them is that they can be easily spray painted, if you have a color scheme. A galvanized tub would go great with those awesome centerpieces.
Thanks for the awesome ideas!
LOVE the mini bbq with matches! Too cute!
